If your pharmacy has not received your prescription (script), there are a few possible reasons and solutions.
Common Reasons
-
Incorrect Pharmacy Selection
- After your consultation, clicks the prescription button in the consultation chat, then click sent to pharmacy. You must select the correct pharmacy for your script.
- If the wrong pharmacy was chosen, your intended pharmacy won't receive the script.
-
Pharmacy Not Listed
- If you search for your pharmacy and an error says it is not listed, you will see a button to "List this Pharmacy."
- Clicking this will send a request to our system admin, who will verify the pharmacy's details.
- Once verified and added to the system, your script will automatically be sent to that pharmacy.
- Make sure you type the pharmacy name correctly - incorrect spelling may prevent it from being found.
-
Incorrect Search (Using only Address Instead of Name and Address)
- If you enter an address and receive an error like "the address you entered is not a pharmacy," this means the system could not match it.
- Always search using the pharmacy name and address, not a vague street address.
- Example: Instead of "123 Main Street, Alberton" type "Clicks Pharmacy, Alberton"
-
System or Pharmacy Delays
- Occasionally, a technical delay or pharmacy system issue can prevent immediate delivery of the script.
- In this case, please contact a support agent or you can choose to send the script to a different pharmacy.
What You Can Do
- Double-check your spelling when searching for the pharmacy.
- Use the pharmacy name rather than the street address when searching.
- If your pharmacy is not listed, submit a request via the "List this Pharmacy" option.
