Updated

Udok uses a One Time Pin (OTP) system to protect your account and make sure your contact details are valid.

When Will I Receive an OTP?

You'll be asked to enter an OTP in the following cases:

  1. Registering a new Udok account - to confirm your mobile number or email address.
  2. Updating your contact details - whenever you change your phone number or email address in your profile.

How the OTP Works

  1. After you enter your contact details, an OTP will be sent to your mobile number or email address.
  2. Go to your inbox or SMS messages and copy the OTP code.
  3. Enter the OTP code into the Udok app where prompted.
  4. Once verified, your registration or update will be confirmed.

Why OTP Is Important

  • Ensures your contact details are correct and active.
  • Protects your account from unauthorized access.
  • Helps doctors and Udok support reach you safely and securely.

Key Notes

  • During registration, the OTP is sent to your mobile number after you have entered your mobile number.

  • During registration, the OTP is sent to your email address after you have entered your email address.

  • When updating your mobile number on your profile, an OTP will be sent to the updated number.

  • When updating email address on your profile, an OTP will be sent to your update email address.

  • OTP codes are valid for a short period of time, so use them as soon as you receive them.

  • If you don't receive your OTP:

    • Make sure your phone has signal (for SMS).
    • Request a new OTP in the app if needed.
