"Why Did I Receive a Peach Payment Link from Udok?"

"Udok may send a Peach payment link (l.ppay.io) when there is an outstanding amount to pay, for example when medical aid does not cover the full consultation amount."

Updated

You may receive a Peach Payments link from Udok (for example https://l.ppay.io/...) when there is an outstanding balance on your consultation.

This often happens when your medical aid does not cover the full amount and a patient portion remains payable.

When this link is valid

A Peach link can be valid when:

  • The message says it is from Udok.
  • It refers to a consultation/invoice you recognise.
  • You have an outstanding amount on your Udok invoice or statement.

Udok may send these links by SMS, email, or WhatsApp.

How to verify before paying

Before you pay, check:

  1. You recognise the consultation and date.
  2. You can see the outstanding amount in your Udok consultation documents/invoice.
  3. The message matches your Udok details (patient name, invoice/consultation reference).
  4. You can log in to your Udok profile and confirm any outstanding invoices before paying.
