Udok accepts many medical aid schemes and plans. However, there are certain providers and plans we currently do not cover. If you are on one of these, please read carefully how your consultation will be handled.
Medical Aid Providers and Plans Not Covered
The following medical aid providers and plans are not supported by Udok:
- Affinity Health
- Momentum
- Health4Me
- Kaelo
- PrimeCure Dischem
- Essential Employee Benefits (EEB)
- Discovery Classic Smart Plan
- Discovery Essential Smart Plan
- Discovery Active Smart Plan
- Flexicare
- Old Mutual (for Family Planning)
- Genric
Special Note on Discovery KeyCare
- Patients on Discovery KeyCare plans must be treated as cash patients.
- However, if the patient still has available benefits, they will not need to pay for their consultation.
What This Means for You
- If your medical aid plan is on the list above, you will need to register as a cash patient.
- This means that the consultation will not be claimed directly from your medical aid.
- You will be responsible for payment unless otherwise specified (e.g., KeyCare with benefits).
