After a consultation, your doctor may issue important documents such as invoices, pathology results, sick notes, or referrals. These documents are always available to view, send, or download directly from your Udok account.
Note: Prescriptions can be viewed and sent to a pharmacy, but they cannot be downloaded or sent by email/SMS. (See How to Send a Prescription for details.)
Option 1: From the Consultation Chat
-
Once your consultation is completed by a doctor, the documents will appear as buttons inside your consultation chat.
-
Each button will be clearly labelled (e.g., Sick Note, Invoice, Referral, Pathology Result).
-
Click on the button to open the document.
-
At the bottom of the document view, you'll see action buttons:
- Send - Enter an email address or mobile number to send the document directly (non-prescription documents).
- Send to pharmacy - For prescriptions only.
- Download - Downloads the document to your device and opens it in a new browser tab (non-prescription documents).
Option 2: From Consultation History
- Go to the Consultations section from your main menu.
- You'll see a list of all your past consultations.
- Find the consultation you want and click the down arrow icon to expand it.
- At the bottom of the consultation preview, you'll see all related documents.
- Next to each document, you'll find options to View and, for non-prescription documents, Send or Download. Prescriptions show Send to pharmacy instead of download.
Option 3: From the Documents Section
- Go to the Documents section from your main menu.
- Here you'll see all your documents listed and categorised by type (e.g., Invoice, Sick Note, Referral, Pathology Result).
- On the right of each document, you'll see buttons to View, Send, or Download.
Key Notes
- Invoices, referrals, sick notes, and pathology results can all be viewed, sent, or downloaded.
- Prescriptions are not downloadable and must be sent to a pharmacy.
- Documents are always linked to your consultations and remain available for future reference.
