If you have already had a consultation and need to follow up with a doctor you've consulted with - for feedback, additional documents, prescriptions, or medication queries - you can easily do so through your Udok profile. For example, if you had forgotten to request a sick note from your doctor during the consultations, and you would like to ask the doctor after the fact you can do so by accessing the consultation chat and requesting the sick note there. The doctor will see your request or message and revert.
Step 1: Go to the Consultations Section
- Log in to your Udok account.
- From the main menu, click Consultations.
- Locate the consultation with the doctor you want to follow up with.
Step 2: Open the Consultation Preview
- Click the arrow icon next to the consultation.
- The consultation preview will open, showing details of your visit.
Step 3: Access the Consultation Chat
- In the consultation preview, click View Chat.
- This will reopen the original consultation chat with your doctor.
Step 4: Send Your Message

In the chat, you can type and send a message directly to your doctor to:
- Ask for feedback.
- Request additional documents (e.g., sick notes, medical certificates).
- Request repeat prescriptions or medication adjustments.
- Ask any follow-up questions related to your health.
Important Notes
- Messages are sent securely through the Udok platform.
- Your doctor may respond during their available hours. Response times may vary.
- If your follow-up requires a new assessment or consultation, the doctor may advise booking a new consultation.
